Hey, my name is Reese Myrlie! I am a senior at Rosemount High School and this is my 4th year cheering at RHS. My favorite part about our routine is stunting because I love to help and watch all the athletes grow and see how everyone progresses in the season. Outside of cheer I am involved in RHS track being a sprinter and I also weight lift in champions club. I work full time being a nanny to 3 cute little boys. I love going to church camp in the summer and helping kids grow in their faith and also get to learn right along with them. My advice for any new cheerleaders is to always have a positive attitude and mindset and just also know that everything will work out, and always remember to have fun!!

Hi my name is Hailey Palmer and I am one of the 2023-2024 Varsity Cheer Captains! I am a senior at Rosemount High School and this is my 5th year cheering at RHS. My favorite part of the comp routine is dance. The dance for me is such a fun and uplifting part of the routine where each and every cheerleader can really feel the music and give each movement their all while adding their own touch. It is a great way to pump up the crowd and cheerleaders before finishing the routine with the grand pyramid. Outside of cheer, I am a PSEO student involved in my college’s honor society, Phi Theta Kappa, as well as NSHSS (National Society of High School Scholars). I am also involved in my school’s dance department, dancing in RHS’ annual dance shows as well as the very well known Onstage. In my free time, I work with the Department of Human Resources as well as nanny. I also spend my time volunteering at local food shelters. My advice to new cheerleaders is to continue persevering through all the hardships, and to give everything you do your all. Cheer can be very mentally and physically draining at times, but the end results are worth all of the hardships and setback you endure.

Hi my name is Libby Pylkas and I'm one of the 2023-2024 Varsity Cheer Captains! I'm going to be a senior at Rosemount High School and this is my 5th year cheering. My favorite part of the routine is pyramid. I love seeing it be put together because it always looks so good when everything hits. Outside of cheer I work a lot. I work at Starbucks, I nanny, and I work at my mom's clinic. Some advice for new cheerleaders is don’t overthink. One thing I’ve learned from being a flyer is you can’t overthink your stunt.
